Direct Admission Process in VIT Vellore
- Online Application
- The portal for UG / PG / NRI / Foreign admissions for 2026-27 is live.
- For NRI/Foreign category: There’s a separate application form.
- For Regular B.Tech (via VITEEE)
- Register and appear for VITEEE-2026.
- Based on the rank in VITEEE, students fill choices (campus, branch, fee category) during counselling.
- After seat allotment, pay the tuition/seat acceptance fee and complete document verification.
- For NRI/Foreign (“Direct”) Category
- Apply under the NRI/Foreign admission category.
- Academic credentials (Class 12 marks) are verified. Seats are allotted under the separate quota.
- Once selected, pay the required fees and complete formalities.
- Document Verification & Reporting
- After allotment, candidates must submit original documents (Class 10, 12 mark-sheets, etc) and do the physical reporting at VIT campus.
- Hostel booking, orientation and other joining procedures follow.
